I'm back! (Everyday Makeup)

Hello everyone, i'm back! Been super busy with University exams and have my exams back (I passed, yay!) , but I am done for summer now, so blog posts will be more regular now!)
I thought i'd bring it back with a makeup post, on what I wear for my everyday makeup!
To be honest, its hardly anything as you will see, but i'm not one for wearing loads of makeup everyday!

Mascara: False lash Telescopic, Blusher: BeautyUK,
Highlight/Eyeshadow: MUA, Bronzer: BM Mineral Bronzer
I love this mascara! Its completely my everyday 'go-to' mascara.
For me, it totally looks like I have false eyelashes on, so its perfect for in the daytime and nighttime, but doesn't look to over the top! This also just makes me not even need eyeliner. I feel this mascara is all I need!
This blusher is great! Very pigmented, but depends how much you use depending on the look you want. When I want a subtle rosey look I use very little, but also for when i'm dancing in shows, it can create a very dramatic look! It was also very inexpensive, about £2 I think.
This is by BM beauty, which I got in my Glossybox, but I definitely will be getting another one! It leaves a lovely golden glow, and I prefer it so much when I haven't got foundation on. It strangely complements my freckles and makes me look very natural! Also, a little goes a long way!
This MUA product is formally a eyeshadow, but I tend not to use it as that. It works perfectly as higlight, on the tops of the cheeks, under the brow and on the cupids bow of the lip! Its a lovely natural beige colour, but when put on blends right in with the skin, leaving a subtle shimmer! This too very inexpensive!

Overall, I feel these products are very inexpensive, yet are great for a natural/everyday look. I do feel this will change for me in the winter months, but for the summer this works perfectly!
What are your everyday makeup products? Have you tried any of mine?

Weekly Wishlist #2 (Random)

I thought i'd apply this weeks wishlist to a Sport theme. As i'm studying Sport and PE at University, here are some things that couldn't benefit me in my 2nd year at Uni and also general wishes as well!
This is random I know, hahah!

England Shirt: Obviously it being quarter finals tomorrow against Italy and being the Euros in general, I should upgrade my England Shirt. Its such a nice design and simple too! The red is a great contrast and a nice way to show our countries colours. Looks good on the players too ;)
West Ham United 2012/2013 Away Shirt: The endless amounts of West Ham shirts I have, do I really need a new one? Yes, yes I do! haha, i'm worse than a bloke! But you know any games I may go to, I feel I should keep up haha, Come on you Hammers!
Jack Wills Buckland Bag: This is more of a desire than a need. I currently use my West Ham holdall for fixtures and dance classes but this is just lovely and would be a bag I would love to have. It being £79 though is hard to justify but I guess with Jack Wills that is what you get!
Nike Dri Fit Socks: This is random but I actually need socks! Plus these are great for minimising sweat because of the fabric and also is anti blister!
Nike Shorts: Once again, loads of pairs of shorts but I love Nike shorts. They are so comfy for any activity, especially in the summer, they are very airy and the fabric is not designed to keep heat in. Very spacious shorts, they do the job but still keep in fashion aspect for those whoever love everything Nike.

Any must have leisure/sport/fitness items this summer or for education purposes?
Feel free to comment

These are literally the most amazing spiked shoes I've seen, and the most expensive I must add too.
They are the UNIF Hellraiser Flat Shoes from
I saw these when I watched Grav3yardgirls youtube video on her shoe collection and instantly fell in love!
However, they are $159.00 which is pretty much £125.00
I would never pay this much for a pair of shoes, but will be on my wishlist for a while!

kukee jewellery

I was first introduced to Kukee by a blog and I was instantly intrigued.
Kukee is a online jewellery website, that is great quality, unique pieces, different styles and all for an amazing price.
A deal was also on where if you brought over £10 worth you got a free cross keyring
Here are some pictures of what I brought

White Pastel Necklace - £2.50
Make A Wish:Peace Earrings- £1
Chunky Statement Ring With Black Stone- £3.50
Deer Antler Ring- £1.50
Make A Wish: Peace Necklace- £2.50

I chose these items just as a trial run to see what the quality was like, whether I definitely like them etc.
I really do love every piece and will without a doubt be ordering from them again because there is so many more pieces I would like!

please note: this is my own review and paid for these all myself, thanks x

Liebster Award

Hey everyone! So I recently have been tagged in the Liebster Award by izzaturrusydas here on Blogger. She is so pretty and has a great blog so go check her blog out!
I wasn't entirely sure what the Award was for, or anything about it when I read her post about it, this is what it explained.

The Liebster Award is given to upcoming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. The Meaning; Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing and welcome.

I really do think this is a great idea just for people to know more about them and also make people aware of there blogs!

The Rules!
1) Each person must post 11 things about themselves.
2) Answer the questions the tagger has set for you plus create 11 questions for the people you tagged to answer.
3) Choose 11 people and link them in your post.
4) Go to their page and tell them.
5) Remember no tag backs!

So here are 11 things about me which you may or may not know yet! :)
1) I am 19 years old.
2) I'm studying Sport and Physical Education at University.

4) I'm a life long West Ham United fan
5) I love any type of music, but my favorite band is You Me At Six

After watching Beauty Gurus on youtube, I found myself being more interested in fashion and makeup!

2) What kind of style would you define yourself as having?
I think i'm into a mixture of style depending on occasions. I have quite a boyish when i'm lounging around the house, a baggy top with trackies. But when i go out I do dress girly and love wearing skirts and dresses, even though people normally see me in Sports wear when i play sports.

Anywhere really, topshop, miss selfridge,, new look, primark. I do also get some things from eBay there are some good finds :)

6) Would you prefer heels/wedges or flats/pump shoes?
All of the above, however i am 5ft10 so wearing wedges or heels is a dilemma as i hate being tall but I cant help going out on a Saturday night with some killer heels on haha! But my go to shoes would have to be flats!

7) If you could choose to live in another country, which country would it be?
Either Australia or America definitely!

8) What quote/phrase do you live your life by?
Everything happens for a reason, because it does! So i dont live by regretting things, because it all happens for a reason, and things in my life have happened because of a reason!

9) What's one thing that most people would probably not know about you?
I absolutely love old disco/ 70's80's90's music! cant go wrong, when your down in the dumps stick on abit of Stevie Wonder or The smiths etc and i'm instantly happy!

10) 7 most reached for products.
Noble Isle Shower gel, L'oreal Mascara, Simple Light Moisturiser, Batiste Dry Shampoo, Dove Instant Anti Perspiration, Versace Perfume, Soap and Glory Hand Food.

red and suede

So, i think i've lost the plot.. hahah
only gone and spent money on something completely outrageous, for me anyway that is!
brace yourself..

I literally had an epiphany and thought to myself; I want some red, suede court shoes.
They were 9.99 from Ebay!
Not joking, these are soo high, even the platform doesn't justify anything!
I'm 5ft 10 and in these i'm 6ft3! WHAT
I think I may just have them for decor on my chest-drawers.
I must be completely nuts.
Oh well:)

My Favorite Songs This Month

I do find I tend to have favorite songs every month, whether there is a new single or album released, or whether its just an ongoing love of mine.

Ben Howard- Only Love
literally this song is simply beautiful, he has such a unique voice that is so soothing. I fell in love with 'The Wolves' and new that it was pretty much impossible to not love anymore of his songs! I know this will be one of my year favorite songs!
Usher- Scream
This song is just one of those that makes you want to get up and just party like a animal. The beat is insane and I do think this will be one of my summer tunes this year! If it doesn't come on at the club, or at a party I wont be pleased haha
You Me At Six- No One Does It Better
As they are my all time favorite band I thought it was appropriate they had a mention in this post. Josh Franceschi has the most stunning voice and there is not a song on all three albums that I don't like (honestly)! But this just tops it for me. Its just a perfect love song, and the band bring everything together so nicely. Not only is it my song of the month, it will be the song a lifetime! If you haven't heard it, get on it!
David Guetta & Avicii vs Laidback Luke - Till Sunshine (Pixel Cheese Bootleg)
This isn't a mainstream song, but found it on YouTube. Its just a perfect example of a great club tune, no matter the occasion I would be on the dance floor getting my groove on! Also cant go wrong with Davy G in your life, he's amazing! and Avicii, simply awesome! I'm a sucker for dance anthems/dub-step/club tunes, so this is a top song for me this month.
Cheryl - Call My Name
I don't really get attached to Cheryl's songs much, but this is an exception. It's so catchy and the delivery is great! Also love the music video, she looks great, very jealous! Yes it is a little repetitive but so catchy and I couldn't get bored of it, go chezza!
Drake f/ Lil Wayne- HYFR
Lets be honest, Drake is just the don! His album 'Take Care' is amazing! But this song is class! Its one of those songs where you don't have give to give a s**t! The music video is hilarious! And Lil Wayne verse is so good! Overall an awesome song, but there's a time and a place for playing that song loud! Preferably not when your parents are home! haha

What are your songs of the month? Or favorite songs of all time?

Okay so I know as far as dilemmas go this is a bit sad, but being a girl, who is practically a giant I need some advice! So, I want to buy a maxi skirt which probably for my height may not look right? but i'm willing to be a chancer and try it. My problem is which style will suit my better. Being 5ft11 i'm not sure what style to go for? what will make me look a little shorter? or look better for my height?
As my options stand, the best 3 would be:
1. A full length plain maxi skirt, pleated or unpleated (not bothered), chiffon material - not jersey.
2. An asymmetrical skirt (meaning, high front hem- low back hem) same material.
3. The material above the knee opaque and below the knee, see through- still full length however.

Being fussy about particular clothes, I would be the one who finds skirts they like in the perfect colours online instead of when I physically try one on when I go shopping, therefore I want to order the right one. You may be thinking, send it back? but I cant be doing with all that haha!

Please if you have any suggestions? Or if you had the same problem and resolved it, please leave a comment below. Would be appreciated!

Rosy Lips!

I've got to be perfectly honest, some days I just cant bothered with lipstick or lipglosses, but still want something on my lips so make them shine. One day I was routing around Boots and I came across this, Vaseline - Rosy Lips. Just like any normal Vaseline, however a beautiful deep rose colour with the most amazing smell. I find it enhances the natural colour of your lips and is obviously so moisturising as Vaseline is anyway! Its a really subtle shade and you only need a small amount, little goes along way as they say! I have had this since December and haven't even got 3 quarters of the way through! Just a simple alternative for a subtle colour on your lips even if its just popping to the shops! No one would believe its Vaseline!

Vintage Jewellery

Just a quick post to show a piece of Jewellery that I have recently purchased, nothing special, but I love it

First is this Vintage Antiqued Gold Peacock Necklace with green, brown and blue peacock feather under the gold detail of the peacock. Also a blue gem stone on one of the gold peacock feathers. Its on a long 30" chain, which personally I prefer longer necklaces. I'm starting to take a fancy to vintage jewellery, so this is the start to the collection. I love it. I actually brought this off Ebay for a really cheap price.
I would definitely suggest if you wanted to start out buying Vintage Jewellery, Ebay is a great place to start!
Does anyone know any other places to find sweet Vintage Necklaces? xo

cheeky day in the sun

Lets be honest, today has been glorious! and was just an excuse to make this post and on another note, crack out my Spain flip flops that have been hidden away from last year! Super comfy for just pottering about in the garden or running errands! I spent today, revising in the garden with my younger brother, chilling etc etc; (not much to show for it, mind you) however tonight i'm going for a stroll along with river with the boyfriend and taking a cheeky trip to the pub for a bevvy in the sun! wonderful!

May GlossyBox - Anniversary

 May GlossyBox!
So its the time in the month when the Glossybox's arrive! And I can't describe how excited I was this morning when I opened it! Its the 1st Birthday of Glossybox so I was sure to expect a surprise!
Firstly, as you do, I took the lid off and the was the standard card which explained the products and the blurb on the back page! As i took it out the most amazing paper was revealed! the pink create paper (which I am keeping!) covered in bows, lipstick, cakes etc was definitely the sweetest touch! How Cute?!

Now for the products (by this point i'm to excited haha!)
As an extra little gift, they put in the box and compact mirror with Glossybox and the logo on the front, which was very nice, and a very handy extra! Also a balloon, which they wanted everyone to blow it up take a picture and tweet! Such cuteys!
Right so,
Noble Isle: Summer Rising Bath & Shower Gel.
I love getting new bath/shower products but always afraid they all smell the same! I wanted something a bit different this time! Regardless of my thoughts I was pleasantly surprised! It has a really rich scent, not to overpowering, but it does remind me of a summer fragrance, its very fruity; in fact toned with elder-flower and gooseberry! Its a really good size, 75ml in fact which will last me a while!

Lolita Lempicka: L'Eau en Blanc
I'm a sucker for fragrances, I love trying new ones and comparing which is best for what occasion etc! This is a very sweet fragrances that leaves a really nice subtle scent on the skin! It does remind me of an impulse spray slightly, although off the top of my head can't remember! I only did a tester spray on my wrist just to see how long it lasts, so far so good! The price for a 100ml is £65, which some may say is pricey, however because I am not familiar with the brand itself I cant really make judgement on that, it is made in Paris. The fragrance is available from House of Fraser.

Lolita Lempicka: Si lolita
This is the other fragrance and I instantly fell in love! Its such a beautiful scent and completely reminds me of summer time! its very sophisticated but I think it suits day and night time! it is quite strong so little will go a fair way. Its totally flawless! Even the packaging was the cutest! My favorite product in this box! This perfume, is £63 for the 100ml and also available from House of Fraser! With Vanitas from Verscase and this one also, Glossybox have totally impressed!

Weleda: Face Cream/Body Milk:
This is just a simple face/body cream made with natural ingredients. I haven't opened it, but I have a weleda product and I really liked it. I will update this post if I really like and if i does make a difference to my skin!

Uniqone: All In One Hair Treatment
I was super excited to see this, because I have been waiting to find a perfect leave in spray for my hair! This product infact claims to provide:
1. Repair dry and damaged hair
2. Shine and frizz control
3. Heat protection
4. Silkiness and smoothness
5. Hair colour protection with UVA and UVB filters
6. Easier brushing and ironing
7. Incredible detangling
8. Long lasting hairstyle
9. Spilt end prevention
10. Adds body
This may just be a miracle leaving in spray! Can't wait to see the results and I will be purchasing again if it works. Its £13.99 for a 150ml bottle, great and Its sold in hairdressing salons!

Lets Go Lashes:
Fake Lashes EEEK, this is the best box! Seriously, I love trying new fake lashes, perfect for a night out, more natural the better and these are totally natural! They come with adhesive glue, which is a bonus and they are reusable if you take good care of them! I have never heard of the Lets Go brand, but will be sure to check them out! There are 40 styles to chose from and I have number 3. Also made from 100% human hair, and our £8.95 per strip, which I got in my box the full thing! How exciting!

What do you all think of the Glossy Box this month?! :)

Lipstick Review

Hello! So, as I assume most girlys own a Rimmel Lipstick, there great prices for a decent quality. This particular one is the Lasting Finish Lipstick in the colour Coral in Gold, and it is what it says; a beautiful coral colour. To be honest I've always been a Nude, Pink or Bright Red Lipstick girl. However, after watching Zoella's Mac lipstick collection and seeing a orangey/coral I fell in love with the one she showed and thought it was about time I tried a different shade of lipstick! Obviously it being a trial run to see if it suited me, I didn't want to buy a Mac lipstick because of the price, so a standard Rimmel one was probably the best option and I absolutely LOVE this. Its quite matte so I tend to put a clear or shimmery gloss on top of it as feel it sometimes dries my lips out on its own, but nevertheless, lives up to names and stay on all night long! I realise now, coral and orangey lipsticks do suit me, as long as its not to overpowering! Therefore will be purchasing another :)

I purchased mine from amazon, as the deal was good, but any drugstore will have them!

Any suggestions? Please leave a comment, thankyou x

Perfume Review- Vanitas by Versace

Now, i'm not the sort of girl to splash out ridiculous money on a perfume, but how could I not resist with this. I was first introduced to the Versace fragrance, in a Glossybox this year. I was so excited because I realised they definitely pushed the boat out for their products! It was a tiny bottle only about 5ml, however wasn't a spray lid (like this one) but just came with a cap so you could determine how much you applied! It was perfect! Then the fateful day came when i stupidly put it in my bag and went off to London, later to find the cap had come off and no longer had any left, my heart was literally broken,! Moaning for ages about how lovely it smelt (still having the scent drowned into my bag mind you) I plucked up the courage to fork out for a new bottle. Using my initiative (which doesn't happen often) I had a search on Ebay for cheaper deals but still the product was brand new! I found this one, for £40!! AND to make it even better, a 100ml! Cant go wrong; only down side however its a spray instead so wont last as long, but couldn't help but jump at the opportunity.

The fragance itself is a very classy, warm and very womanly scent, which will literally linger on your skin all day! The scent is combination of the tiare flower, lime, freesia, cedar wood and tonka bean! A few mystery scents in there, but nonetheless a wonderful aroma!!
It can be purchased from Harrods as advertised by the Glossy Box but is available most fragrance sites and prices do vary!

Orly, Topshop Ice Crush, Primark

Favorite Nail Polishes
From right to left:-
This nail lacquer is from Orly, which I actually received as part of my Glossybox. It's in the colour Ruby and I feel its a really classy colour and great for the winter time as it has relates to me the warm/cosy feel. If you don't want a bright red colour but something a bit more darker this is the perfect colour for you! Personally I prefer it on longer nails, it looks great, as I have long fingers, however short nails can work it! Its suggested retail price is £6.95 which can be purchased of the Orly website, however I believe its stated in US Dollars. Overall, a beautiful colour that is very classy and very womanly!
This nail polish is from Topshop which i'm pretty sure most people own! I never really heard of Topshop's beauty products getting much attention however the Nail polish have totally taken everyone by storm. This particular colour is Ice Crush, which personally is my favorite one. Its primarily a clear base, but jam packed with glitter specs with bigger holographic chunks of glitter (which under any light looks simply amazing). Wearing it by itself looks gorgeous, but also having it on top of a different colour also works so well! The polish itself is such a good size, and is well worth the money. It retails at £6 which is understandable as Glitter Polishes always come out more expensive. The most simple, natural, matte colours are £5. They are available in stores and online. I definitely will be picking up a lot more!
Lastly, this polish (would you believe it) is from Primark! It is the most gorgeous hot pink colour however not to bright! There is no shimmer or glitter very plain but the perfect pink in my eyes! It actually came in a pack of 4, but this one stood out most to me! The pack of 4 was around £4 I believe which is awesome (blue, mint green and lilac; were the others), and i'm so happy I found them! As you may think that its quite inexpensive the quality is not great however, its so thick and pigmented so 2 coats is all you need! Its a very summery colour and will look great to any parties, on finger nails and toe nails! Great product!

My favorite shoes
These are currently my favorite shoes that I purchased about 6 months ago. However since its Spring and Summer is slowly upon us, I think they are perfect for the two seasons. As you can see there is floral designed fabric across the ankle, side, and top of the foot, with a criss cross design on the top of the foot.
The peep toe adds a cute edge, as i'm sure most girls love to show off there favorite nail polishes in these summer months, and I personally think a  hot or baby pink would be perfect! They have a zip at the back/top of the shoe which is white so it blends with the white back colour of the floral design.
The platform section of the shoes is cork with a 4" heel. Despite this may seem daunting, I am 5"11 and can walk in these fine, I do find wedges a lot comfier especially on nights out. They are easy to pair with clothes with subtle colours, but any style of clothing is fine, dependent on the occasion I suppose!
I purchased these shoes in fact from a shop on Ebay for £22.99 with a postage cost of £3.49 which I thought was very reasonable! the make is Truffle and our very easy to find!
All in all, a great price & a great pair of shoes!
